Did Facebook set the seeds for its destruction by giving up data on 87 million users? I don’t know. I just assume my data is not private. My credit rating is so sucky no one is likely to steal it. In fact, I’ll trade with you sight unseen.
“In the 80’s Brzezinski stated in his book, The Grand Chessboard that soon the government would have a database containing everything there is to know about each and every one of us.”
I have always assumed it’s true. I’m amazed at the personal stuff people will post online.
Some are leaving Facebook because of censorship. Others privacy. A few because it can become a huge waste of time.
Let’s face it. I like someone else tracking friends’ birthdays and reminding me. Even if I wish they had run out of birthdays already.
My feeling is censorship might kill FB, but most people are too stupid to care. Use it or don’t use it, but don’t complain.
