My vote for the best self-help book ever written goes to How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World by the late Harry Browne. I found it here for free.

I found the book in the public library in Jacksonville in the mid-80s when trapped in a bad marriage. At least, I thought I was trapped. Check to see where your personal freedom is compromised, and how to escape from the trap.

Who are you kidding?

A fair number of politicians changed around the country. Already, all I hear is promises they cannot keep.

In Florida, Governor-Elect Rick Scott is promising to create 700,000 jobs in 7 years using a 7 step program. Please.

First of all, he was elected with 49% of the vote for a 4 year term. Built in deniability. If you don’t give me 4 more years, I can’t finish my program.

Boehner. Supposed new Speaker of the House. Wants to repeal health care. Last I checked, Obama is still President. Can anyone say veto?

If Republicrats and Demicans will lie the day after election, they will do anything.
